Metabolic Syndrome among People Living with HIV - An Indian Perspective (MS HIV)

The objectives of the study are to :
Estimate the prevalence of metabolic syndrome among the sample People Living with HIV. Explore research areas for policy making and addressing co-infection of non-communicable diseases. Hypertension, blood pressure and lipid profile are collected from the clients with their consent. As on March, 2015, 162 participants against the 400 participants to be recruited in the study. Identifying creatinine levels, blood picture, height, weight of the participants and administering questionnaires, identifying risk factors are also included in the project.
